What people ask most often
The commission is agreed individually according to the type of property and the scope of work. I tell you the figure at the first meeting, before you sign anything, and it covers everything: preparation, photographer, video, listings, viewings, legal services and escrow.
Yes. I come and see the property, go through the title deed and the condition of the building with you, and give you the price range it will sell for. Without obligation and regardless of whether we end up working together.
For a prepared property with a clean legal title, expect roughly three months from the first phone call to the money in your account. Half of that is the land registry and the bank, which nobody can speed up.
Routinely. The purchase price is split through escrow: one part goes to the bank to repay the loan, the rest to you. The seller pays nothing out of pocket and the buyer’s payment is held in escrow.
Yes. A sale or a purchase can be completed remotely through a power of attorney with a certified signature. If it is signed outside the Czech Republic an apostille is also needed, and that is the one thing you have to start arranging right at the beginning.
